The ASUM NZ26 Conference is pleased to offer the following option workshops, which you are able to select during your online registration. If you have already registered and wish to add the workshops to your registration, please reach out to the conference managers fiona@outshine.co.nz.


Pre-Conference Endometriosis Workshop

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain the role of transvaginal ultrasound in the diagnosis and pre-operative mapping of endometriosis, and its impact on patient outcomes.
  2. Identify and interpret key sonographic signs of endometriosis involving the uterus, ovaries, and pelvic compartments.
  3. Assess ovarian mobility and perform the sliding sign accurately, recognising normal and abnormal findings.
  4. Apply a structured, compartment-based scanning approach to map endometriosis for surgical planning.
  5. Demonstrate optimised scanning techniques during live ultrasound, including image acquisition, probe manipulation, and clear communication of findings.

Endometriosis Workshop spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed. If workshop spaces are full, no discount or refund will be applied to your registration fee. Priority for workshop waitlists will be given to attendees who have registered for the full conference.

Four workshop options are available during the online registration process:

Price: Included in registration for full and weekend attendees.

To ensure inclusivity for all registered attendees there is a limit during registration of one of the MSK workshops, and an option to waitlist for a second choice. Workshop places are allocated on a first-in, first-served basis.

Musculoskeletal Workshop spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed. If workshop spaces are full, no discount or refund will be applied to your registration fee. Priority for workshop waitlists will be given to attendees who have registered for the full conference.


PAYMENT

Payment can be made on invoice by direct credit (account details will be included on your invoice), or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). From 8 June 2026, you will be required to pay by credit card during the online registration process. Credit card statements will show debit as Outshine Ltd and incur a 2% processing fee. All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include GST of 15%. Credit card payments are processed via Windcave which is a Level 1 Service Provider and is compliant to PCI DSS Version 3.2. Confirmation and a tax invoice will be sent via email upon receipt of your online registration.

If your organisation is paying your registration fee and has specific billing requirements, it is the delegates’ responsibility to provide these details during registration. Invoices that fail to meet the organisation's payment policy due to incorrect or incomplete information will not be reissued. The delegate would then be responsible for arranging payment directly and seeking reimbursement from their organisation.

CONFERENCE CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations or registration changes must be made in writing to the Conference Managers at fiona@outshine.co.nz.

Cancellations made on or before 7 June 2026, will be refunded less $100.00 NZD to cover administration costs. No registration refunds for full cancellations will be made after this date, and refunds for tickets to the social functions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. You may elect to transfer your registration to a colleague, in which case please contact the Conference Manager to arrange.

If for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the conference is cancelled outright, the registration fees will be refunded less fees incurred.

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations made prior to 7 June 2026 will be refunded less $100.00 NZD to cover administration costs. No registration refunds for cancellations will be made after this date, unless your place is filled by a delegate on our waiting list, in which case you will receive a refund less $100 NZD. Should the workshop be cancelled, it will not be delivered as a virtual event, and a refund will be provided less the cost of administration fees.
